Inspired by a call to public service, Justin Davis is the South Point Township member of the Gaston County Board of Education. He believes that all children can succeed and reach their full, God-given potential when provided with quality educational opportunities.
A husband and father, Justin and his family live in Belmont and are actively involved at First United Methodist Church Belmont. Justin is a partner at the law firm of Mullen Holland & Cooper in Gastonia, North Carolina. His wife, Shelton, is an ordained United Methodist minister and a pastoral counselor with Sanctuary Counseling Group. Their two children are students in Gaston County Schools.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond with a Juris Doctor, cum laude, Justin is passionate about education and believes that learning is the key to a successful future.
Great things are happening in Gaston County and the success of Gaston County Schools will continue to shape our community for years to come. Our rich tradition of community-based schools is integral to the future success of all of our children. Justin believes that we must enhance school security, improve our existing facilities, build new facilities to meet the needs that growth is bringing, continue integrating new technology into our classrooms, and continue the expansion of our career and technical educational offerings. Teachers are the lifeblood of our educational system and Gaston County Schools must strive to attract, hire, and retain high-quality educators.
Please join Justin in his work to help fulfill the vision of Gaston County Schools: “to inspire success and a lifetime of learning.” Vote, volunteer, and contribute today!
